Local legend tells of a young bride, forced into an unwanted marriage. Trapped between her pursuers and the abyss, she prayed for a miracle. In response, the solid rock, moved by her plea, split open to offer her sanctuary. Even today, as you look at that miraculous opening in the cliffside, you can feel the weight of the story. Specifically it is a powerful reminder that, the landscape is a silent witness to the soul’s longing for freedom.
