Bogova Waterfall: The Hidden Turquoise Oasis of Skrapar

If you are looking for a place to escape the summer heat, Bogova Waterfall is the perfect destination. Located at the foot of Mount Tomorr, this waterfall offers crystal-clear water and a peaceful atmosphere. In fact, its Bogova means “of the Gods” in the old Slavic language. How to Get to Bogova Waterfall

The waterfall id located near the village of Bogova on the road between Berat and Corovoda. After parking your car, you need to walk for about 15-20 minutes through a beautiful green path. You can visit Bogova all year round, but each season offers a different vibe. June-August is the best time if you want to swim and enjoy the shade of the big plane trees. April-May: The water flow is much stronger during this time. Moreover, the surrounding nature is at its greenest. After your visit, stop at the local restaurants in Bogova village. They are famous for their traditional slow-cooked meat and fresh trout.

Bogova is a great “half-way” stop. In addition, it is very close to the Osumi Canyon. Most travelers visit the waterfall in the morning and then continue their journey to Corovoda for an afternoon of exploration.
